Britt McGillivray is a registered Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Montana (REA-RAR-LIC-15489). She has helped to complete thousands of residential appraisal reports on properties in the Flathead Valley, most often working in the market areas of Bigfork, Lakeside/Somers, Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls.

From Whitefish Lake homes to rural Bigfork lots with acreage, Britt knows that each assignment deserves a proper and thorough assessment. While the Flathead Valley area in itself is unique, each of these individual markets is even more unique. It is important for an appraiser to recognize those complexities and to take the due diligence necessary to complete assignments based on market specific parameters.

Britt has lived in Bigfork, MT since 2006 and she first moved to Montana to work at Glacier National Park after college. She began her career in the marketing field and, after working with her husband Craig to build new, custom homes for his clients, was offered the opportunity to train as a residential appraiser. Britt’s experience in the home building industry has helped to aid her abilities as an appraiser. She finds it important to stay up to date on new building methods, finishes and trends - and how those affect market value.

Britt and her family spend much of their free time outdoors enjoying all that NW Montana has to offer.
